What is a Concurrent User?
You can have as many users as you want, but you can only have them using TRUE at the same time based on how many are concurrent, or online at the same time. If you think your users will access TRUE at different times throughout the day and not all at once, then you can subscribe to less user licenses. You can easily adjust up and down the number of user licenses you have later without a penalty, so don’t worry about getting it perfect!
Supported Devices
TRUE Enterprise, our desktop version, can be installed on Windows 7 (or later) and Apple macOS 19.9 (or later).  TRUE Go, our tablet and phone version, can be ran on Apple iOS 8 or later on iPads, iPhones or iPod Touch devices. TRUE Online, our web version, can be ran on any computer or device using Chrome 48 or later, Safari 9.x, Internet Explorer 11.x or Edge 25 or later.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No, there are no contracts to sign.  Your TRUE subscription is paid upfront annually with no contract.  You can cancel at the end if you wish.  Simply export your data with the built in tools before your subscription period ends.
Are there any discounts?
Our product offerings are already competitively priced to be affordable for any size firm. From time to time at specific trade shows, or for specific events we do offer small discounts. Where do I buy equipment?
Anywhere you can get it! There’s nothing we sell that you can’t get on your own. That being said, if you do buy through us, we’ll provision the device so that when you get it, it’s immediately ready for use. We can custom provision Infinite Peripheral scanners and barcode readers, iOS user restrictions, custom iOS home screen icons, Brother QL-720NW and Brother QL-710W label printers and more.
Do I need my own FileMaker licenses to use TRUE?
Nope, all your FileMaker licensing needs are included in your subscription or one-time price.  For subscriptions, we will automatically update you to the latest FileMaker version every year.  For one-time clients, your licensing will be upgradable for 1 year.  As a FileMaker Business Alliance member and an approved Solution Bundle Agreement participant, we can offer discounted rates better than anyone else.
Do I need a server?
Nope. You don’t need an IT department either. We’ve made this easy for you! There’s no gimmicks here, your users just need a computer or a mobile device and an internet connection. Think of all the IT costs you can save. If you want to run TRUE on-premise or with a 3rd party provider, you will require a server or access to a hosted one. Contact us to learn more.
How does upgrading work?
All upgrades and patches are included with your paid subscription. We are constantly adding more features and listening to user feedback to make TRUE better than ever. If you’re hosting your own server, upgrading is still free, but you’ll need to either give us access to your FileMaker Admin Console or move your data files to an accessible location.
Do I get training and support?
We provide free initial virtual one-on-one training sessions for each new client. We also have hundreds of pre-made training videos, a full searchable help database, knowledge base, and initial tutorial walkthrough for you as well. We offer free email support for any topic and free telephone support for technical issues like setting up a label printer, internet connectivity, and installation. Consultative training, in-depth setup assistance and onsite training is available for an additional fee. Please contact us for more information.
Is my internet fast enough?
We’ve engineered TRUE to run well even in poor bandwidth environments. There’s even an offline mode for mobile users. We require no less than 1Mb/s up and down per concurrent user and prefer higher if you can. It’s important not to forget about “upload” speed. Most ISPs will advertise high download speeds but offer abysmal upload speeds. Upload is important for your computer to communicate with our servers. Latency can also cause issues if you’re on a satellite based connection or an older “2G” service, for example. If you’re in an area where you have few options, don’t fret. We’ve also engineered TRUE so you can run it without an internet connection on your own server in your own facility. Contact us for more information.
How do I upload data I already have?
We’ve created upload templates for all the major modules so you can import your data in easily. You can even batch upload all of your documents/images and maintain your folder hierarchy too. All of this is included at no additional charge. Initially when you sign up we will import any usable data that you have, such as products, customers, vendors, and more. Need assistance in importing difficult data sets, integration with other systems or uploading terabytes of documents? We can do all of this and more for you for an additional fee. Can I ever modify my plan?
Of course! You can modify your plan anyway you want up to once a month for free. That means you can add or remove users, devices, and packages as the needs of your company change without incurring any additional cost.
Is there an initial setup fee?
With a one-time fee of $999, an Implementation Advisor will help you configure TRUE to your unique business, conduct training with your staff via virtual screen-share sessions, and import basic data from your existing legacy systems.
Do you provide virtual group training?
Yes we do! We schedule group training with our customers based upon the demand for training sessions. The topics rotate and are modified based on the needs of our clients. Also, you can schedule a personalized virtual training seminar with as many as 250 people simultaneously. You can ask and discuss anything you want!
Do you provide on-site training?

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, signature debit cards, business checks, electronic checks (ACH), PayPal, and invoice based payment.
What if I have more than one computer or multiple mobile devices?
We want you to use TRUE whenever and wherever you are. If you are logging onto multiple devices simultaneously, then you’ll need more than one concurrent user license. Otherwise, simply log out of one and log into another. It’s that simple.
What if I have hundreds of workers who only need to punch in and out for attendance?
No worries! We can provide your team with a simple, easy to use time clock mobile app that thousands of workers can use to clock-in everyday.
What if I have multiple shifts of workers who share devices?
No worries! You can have as many shifts, workers, and users you want at no additional charge. You only ever have to pay for the total number of users accessing the system at the same time.
How many users can TRUE support?
Over 1000 concurrent users depending on server specifications and network infrastructure can access your solution at the same time. This applies to our software installed products. Our mobile time clock application can support thousands of workers clocking in and out each day. TRUE Online, our web-based fully featured solution, can support up to 500 concurrent users per company. So, unless your firm has tens of thousands of employees who need access all at the same exact time, we can serve you.
Is there anyway to deny access to users for specific records?
There is access control for every module and record in the entire system, so you can extend or deny permissions per user for anything you want.
Is my information secure?
We take security seriously, from login credential requirements, AES 256 bit encryption, multi-factor authentication, access control, monitoring, and more. We go above and beyond to protect your organization’s data.
What happens if I have a power outage or a computer/hardware crash?
Since your information is stored in our servers, you won’t lose a thing. We backup your data constantly so rest assured everything is safe.
