You CANNOT assume your employees understand what you want them to do and how they are expected to do it. Your employees must know exactly what is expected of them and what they are supposed to accomplish. You have to be specific and lay out what the end product should look like. Be specific with clear targets, state what is acceptable and what isn’t, and lay out the consequences for not achieving the results you want and rewards for a job well done.
Explain the Big Picture
To stay motivated, employees need a clear understanding of the company, the employees, customers, project, and how they fit into it. It is important to be honest with your employees about the advantages, drawbacks, company vision and goals. By telling everyone what’s happening, it stops employees from making assumptions about what needs to be done.

Where would any company be without its hardworking employees? Every company should care about their employees as individuals and should make an effort to let them know. Employees need to know that they are cared about, listened to and valued.

Recognition and praise is a game changer. The managers don’t take the time to thank people for a job well done. Whether they know it or not, people want and need feedback and positive reinforcement for their efforts. So make it a regular thing to provide this to all of your employees for best results.
